Little Runner's Rara

by M. Ketsia Theodore-Pharel

A four-year old boy with healthy appetite still doesn't walk. Is he lazy?  If not, what is his problem? His parents and some of the community members are concerned and try to find an answer.  His grandmother cautions to use wisdom because nothing happens before time.  And, one day, he walks! This is a story about the role of a village in the life of children in Haiti.

Key words:  Boy, teeth, brain, walk, lazy, grandmother, bicycle, rara,  bamboo, maraccas, community.
