A Haitian girl, Joujou, and her brother, Jojo, discover a damaged kite called Mitsou and fix its tails. They develop a friendship, and they launch the kite into the sky while happily singing a Haitian song. Mitsou promised them to bring back some colors from the rainbow so they can share them with their friends and make drawings. They sing the kite’s favorite Haitian song to encourage her and ask her to describe what she sees from above: Haiti’s beautiful mountains, the colorful little cars, the beaches, and the
monuments in the busy towns. They also ask Mitsou to bring back a rainbow so they can share the rainbow’s colors with their friends to have fun coloring their favorite drawings.
Yon tifi ki rele, Joujou, ak frè li, Jojo, jwenn yon kap ki domaje yo rele Mitsou bò lanmè nan Ilavach epi yo repare li. Yo vin zanmi Mitsou epi yo kòmanse ap fè l vole pandan y ap chante ak kè kontan yon chante moun Ayiti konn chante lè yo ap monte kap. Yo mande Mitsou dekri sa l wè anlè a: bèl mòn Ayiti yo, taptap tout koulè, bèl plaj yo, ak moniman ki nan plizyè vil. Yo mande Mitsou tou pou l pote yon lakansyèl pou yo ka pataje koulè yo epi repwodui lakansyèl la nan kaye desen yo.
