This story book is developed for second grade level of reading. A grandmother helps two Haitian children find eggs the chickens have hidden. The children learn a valuable lesson from their Grandmother: To be still and observe what is different than usual.

 

The book includes reflection questions that encourage critical thinking. A proverb and bible verse help reinforce values of patience.
